Rockville- George D. Hartman, 75, of
Rockville, a retired farmer, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony Hospital
at Terre Haute. He was born in Parke County on Jan. 20, 1899, a son of William
and Emma Belt Hartman. He was married to Beulah Painter on Dec. 24, 1922. She
survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Erma) Foster of
Whiteland and Mrs. Barbara Thompson of Rt. 1, Perrysville; five grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Butler
Funeral Home here with the Rev. James O. Trousdale officiating. Burial will be
in Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – thanks to
